Paul had put out a card set listing many years ago and since I have been working on one for a while, took his listing, added it to mine to see my gaps and put this up on the blog. I think I am finished for now, though to be honest as long as Paul and ATO keeps putting out games, there will always be more card sets to add.
I will do my best to keep this up to date, but one can always email Paul to see if a card set is available and also order card set(s). Though a certain online game shop also sells these, they don't have all of them and do not offer the "buy 4 games get a free card set" as High Flying Dice does.
Old News - Got word of a new card set for Paul's newly released A Mad Endeavor: The Fight for Stoney Point, July 16, 1779, a very nice looking American Revolutionary War game with Mad Anthony Wayne* against those pesky British, and a very nice card set (see above). With two 11"X17" game maps (using area movement), 97 nicely done counters and 8 pages of rules, looks like a really good game worth the time and effort to put together and play. This is HFDG's 250th anniversary game. Also, I need to throw out kudos to Bruce on his graphics for this game. As I said to Paul, "my gawd Paul, fantastic counters by Bruce!".
*NOTE: Director Raoul Walsh saw John Wayne moving studio furniture while working as a prop boy and cast him in his first starring role in The Big Trail (1930). For his screen name, Walsh suggested "Anthony Wayne", after Revolutionary War General "Mad" Anthony Wayne. Fox Studios chief Winfield Sheehan rejected it as sounding "too Italian". Walsh then suggested "John Wayne". Sheehan agreed, and the name was set. And history was made in both 1779 and 1930.
Added a while back - card sets that will be available for these - HFDG game on the Battle of An Boa May 5, 1968, to be released soon and ATO/TPS (LPS) has released 3 PBGs (yes, 3) on Operation Topsy, a series of British LRDG raids in North Africa, raids that has never been gamed before in PBG format. You will like these as yours truly (yes, that's me) was a play tester. I found them interesting and a challenge. And the 3 PBGs are very nice.
Remember, not all of the games that HFDG or ATO/TPS publishes uses cards, but those that do, here is the listing of what's available (this includes full size games as well as PBGs).
NOTE - All single card sets are now $12.00 and double card sets are $20.00 (and marked) - current as of 2 July 2026.
